Matt's Story - Haibike AllMtn 6.0

Posted by Lucy Rowe on

Many years ago, I used to do a lot of motorcross, petrol ran through my veins, I moved to Wales to pursue my weekend hobby of green laning and enduro riding across the Black mountains, the Ridgeway, Peak district and anywhere I could.    I fell off and snapped my neck, paralyzed my left arm and took 6 months to regain use, I then banned myself from riding motorbikes...   About 3 months ago I was sitting in a car near Beachy Head and said to my friend how nice it would be to ride across the seven sisters and...

Alison's Story - Raleigh Motus

Which Electric Bike did you purchase?   Raleigh Motus   Why did you purchase this Electric Bike?   My previous e-bike, that I had bought in Switzerland when I was living there 5 years previously, was stolen, so I needed a replacement. I wanted a city/touring bike and having tested a couple of bikes, this one was the best in terms of usability (ease of gear/motor use) and feel, i.e. balance, sturdiness, comfort.    How does this Electric Bike ride?   On the whole the bike rides really well and I feel an e-bike is essential for riding around hilly...

This was a particular problem for me, as I live at the top of a hill so for two years, I couldn't cycle anywhere. I was anxious about buying an electric bike because they seemed expensive, but as sooned as I walked into Electric bikes one Saturday afternoon, I was hooked. I chose my bike because I liked the way it looked like a traditional shopper, but...

Lyn's Story - Raleigh Array

I am a 50yr old woman and live in Worthing and work in Brighton.  I was fed up with relying on the poor train service (especially during recent strikes, and couldn't seem to regularly get on my normal bike to commute due to one thing or another (mainly the wind, how long it took me and how tired I got!!). I had thought getting an electric bike was cheating and that it would not help me keep fit. But then I shifted my thinking of an electric bike and I tried to think of it as a means to an...
