Electric Bikes Sussex are happy to refund or exchange any item purchased via our online shop, but your return must be within 30 days. Please ensure you have followed the full returns procedure which will ensure your return can be processed in a timely manner. Returned goods must be unused, in a saleable condition and in their original packaging with all labels still attached. We will process your return as soon as it arrives – but please allow 7 working days.
You have the right to withdraw from your purchases within 30 days. This "cooling off" period expires 30 days after the day you received your goods.
Please note, you may not use goods that you have received before deciding to withdraw from the purchase.
If you are returning an unwanted item then you will need to pay the postage costs to return it to us. You must remember to follow the returns procedure and get a returns number from us before returning anything.
If you wish to return a faulty item you can return it directly to our store, we can then inspect the item and agree with you the next course of action. When you can not visit the store, we recommend you use recorded delivery or registered post to return items to cover yourself against loss.
All goods supplied by Raleigh UK Limited are covered by manufacturers warranty. Please bring the warranty item in store for inspection. We will liaise directly with Raleigh and recommended the best course of action. This could be any one of the following depending upon inspection:
Fault due to manufacturer defect – we will then repair the item under warranty, free of charge and advise you when the item will be ready for collection. If the item cannot be repaired then a suitable replacement will be agreed with yourself.
Fault due to customer abuse – We will then advise on the cost of the repair and it will be at your discretion if you wish to have your purchase repaired.
Bikes – unless faulty, a returned bike must be as new and un-ridden. Please ensure that the size is correct and that you are happy with your bike before unpacking or riding it. Bikes must be returned to us in the original box, with all protective internal packing still in place on the bike to protect it from scratches and damage. The box must be re-sealed securely to fully-protect the bike on its return journey. If accessories have been fitted to the bike, then it is no longer new and in a saleable condition, so you will not be able to return it to us unless it is faulty. You will need to pay the cost of returning goods to us or arranging collection.
Accessories – these can be mailed or delivered directly to us at the address below, but you must have a returns number from us and we would recommend you use recorded delivery or registered post to return items so as to cover yourself against loss.
